ABOUT BRANDON

Seven years after the release of his debut single, Brandon Stansell has come to occupy a unique space in country music.

He has been an ardent advocate for the queer community and the advancement of LGBTQ artists in the still widely conservative genre. In 2018, Brandon’s music video for his single “Hometown” was the first LGBTQ-themed video to ever premiere on CMT. It was also named one of Rolling Stone’s 10 Best Country Videos of the Year. In 2020, he released Hurt People (the title track featuring Cam) – a heartbreaking EP about his own family’s response to his coming out.

The EP also served as the soundtrack to his documentary, Three Chords And A Lie, where the Tennessee-born artist lays bare his struggles with his Southern Baptist family as he prepares for his first hometown show. The documentary was produced by OutTV and Leslie Jordan and premiered at OutFest in Los Angeles in August 2020.

Brandon’s newest project, This Must Be The Place, released September 2021 via PEG Records and Warner Music Group/ADA is an amalgam of the tear-inducing country music of his previous efforts and a compelling pop vibrancy of hope. This Must Be The Place, the LP, which will include the original six tracks plus four additional tracks is set to release June 24, 2022.

Nicole Boggs & The Reel

Nicole Boggs & The Reel

Analog at Hutton Hotel

Nicole Boggs & The Reel are questioning everything. Rooted in three-part harmony and existential blues, they inject rock ‘n’ roll riffs and vindicated vocals into social commentary, holding a mirror to the absurdity of modern life.
Nicole Boggs (bass, lead vox), Alex Kramer (guitars, vox), and Sam Gyllenhaal (guitars, vox) bring drastically different personalities, philosophies and influences to the table. The songwriting team has crafted their sound by zeroing in on each other’s strengths and never shying away from hard conversations. They build common ground through the tension and release of creating together; they don’t settle until everyone is satisfied.
Growing up in musical families, they each walked solo musical paths before coming together for their first official band release, Scenes From Last Year in 2019. Dripping with razor-edged sarcasm, their hard-hitting follow-up EP None of Your Business dropped in the summer of 2020, in the depths of the first wave of Covid-19. Since then, the group has been honing their collective sound behind the scenes, quietly and diligently working on their upcoming release, Dystopian Book Club.
This group of unusual suspects share a love for The Beatles, books, and cultural criticism. They delight in debating the meaning of words and hold the belief that the personal is political. They are always evolving, challenging each other and reflecting the world as they see it in hope that transparency will one day shift the digital tides.

ABOUT IVAN & ALYOSHA

Ivan & Alyosha, also known as I&A, is a folk-pop, indie, rock band from Seattle,
Washington formed in 2007 by Tim Wilson and Ryan Carbary. The band first sparked
attention with their 2013 album All The Times We Had, followed by 2015’s It’s All Just
Pretend, both released by Dualtone Records. Paste called their music “luscious,
enjoyable folk-pop” and NPR Music praised their “Beatles-esque pop harmonies and
sweet melodies,” while Rolling Stone raved about their “smooth, soaring guitar pop” and
American Songwriter said the band “achieve a polished west coast soul-folk sound that
draws on the poppier sensibilities of McCartney songwriting.” The band toured
extensively around those releases, supporting such acts as Brandi Carlile, Aimee Mann,
The Head & The Heart, Delta Spirit, NEEDTOBREATHE and more. Other early
highlights include features on NPR’s Tiny Desk series and All Songs Considered.

With over a decade of touring and recording under their belts, Ivan & Alyosha continue
to hone their creative voice, unafraid to let their sound evolve while staying true to their
folk-pop roots. The band released their most recent self-titled full length album in
October 2020 via Nettwerk Music Group at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The
Seattle Times called it “A mature, masterful work with sonic and thematic heft, and
intuitive production.” Also saying, “The band’s sound has flowered into its own unique,
folk-pop grandeur.”

The band recently released “Ivan & Alyosha, Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle
Symphony” in June 2022. The album was recorded in March of 2021 during a
live-streamed performance as part of The Symphony’s “Essential Series”. An
accompanying documentary film capturing the lead up to the show with the Symphony
will also be released this July, providing a behind the scenes look at the bands journey
through COVID, as well as the experience, unique process and powerful collaboration
with the Symphony.

I&A has also spent the better part of 2022 writing and recording what will be the band’s
fourth full-length album. Produced by Owen Lewis and recorded in Nashville, TN,
Nettwerk Music Group plans to release the album sometime in mid-2023. The
forthcoming release promises to be the bands most mature, significant and progressive
offering to date. Poppier elements abound in the arrangements, instrumentation and
songwriting, while maintaining their signature sound and feel with acoustic guitars, vocal
harmonies, earnest lyrics and heartfelt performances. The band continues to be a fan
and critic favorite in their native Seattle and beyond.

The Deer’s Cry

The Deer’s Cry

Analog at Hutton Hotel

Hope permeates Heal the Heart, the new album from eclectic Americana/world-fusion band The Deer’s Cry. It’s perhaps surprising, then, that the 10 songs on the band’s second record, set for release on September 30, 2022, grew out of dark, sad times.
With Heal the Heart, The Deer’s Cry explores the beauty and symbolism of the spiritual, consistently reminding listeners of both the vastness of our universe and the importance of their role in it. In the spirit of acknowledging something larger than one’s self, the band’s name, The Deer’s Cry, comes from a translation of the title of an Old Irish prayer, St. Patrick’s Breastplate, which reflects on the natural beauty, personal strength, and protection given by a higher power.
Sonically, the musical voices and experiences of Karen and band members Patrick Atwater (bassist/arranger), Bryan Brock (drummer/percussionist), and Will MacLean (banjoist/guitarist) create a mystical intertwining of bluegrass, Celtic, classical, folk, gospel, jazz, rock, and world music. Lyrically, Karen is both introspective and focused on a bigger picture, often connecting her newly written words to classic poetry, traditional prayers, and older texts.

ABOUT ALLEN STONE
Allen Stone was raised in the small town of Chewelah, Washington. He grew up on gospel music, spending much of his childhood as a pastor’s son watching his parents lead their congregation in song. By the time he was 11, he’d picked up a guitar, wrote his first song and soon began self-recording demo tapes to pass along to classmates. After dropping out of college, he moved to Seattle to kickstart his music career, often driving up and down the west coast in his ’87 Buick to play any and all gigs he could.

He quickly developed a reputation for powerful live shows, playing up to 200 dates a year. And, in the years since, Allen has built a devoted following on the strength of his near-magical ability to channel a weight-of-the-world sensitivity into his songs while still radiating hope and promise. His easy grace in blending everything from edgy soul-pop and earthy folk-rock to throwback R&B and Parliament-inspired funk is reflected in his five full length albums – from his 2010 self-released debut album Last To Speak to 2021’s APART, an intimate album recorded in a converted cabin during the pandemic.

Stone has continued to keep a constant touring schedule and has appeared numerous times on national television including performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Today Show, was a mentor on American Idol, and just recently participated in The American Song Contest.

ABOUT BITCH

Bitch makes witchy poet pop. She does it with violins and synthesizers. The resulting songs from her new album Bitchcraft, which came out on Kill Rock Stars February 4th, 2022, are heartbreaking, spectral, political and beautiful. Bitch is based in Los Angeles after living in New York for many years. She’s a longstanding queer music icon and “Bitchcraft” is her 9th studio album.
Bitch first achieved notoriety as one half of the queer folk duo Bitch & Animal. The band went on tour with Ani DiFranco, whom they met while playing a gig at a pizza shop in Provincetown. In the mid 2000s, Bitch went solo, and shared stages with the Indigo Girls, acted in John Cameron Mitchell’s film Shortbus, co-wrote a song with Margaret Cho, produced two albums of her elder folk hero Ferron, and licensed some of her songs to The L Word.
