ABOUT MELISSA FARRIOR

Melissa Farrior is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. Originally from San Diego, CA she has had the privilege of surrounding herself with music and the calming beauty of the coast for most of her life. Her music blurs the lines between Americana and Soul with her Western influences and powerhouse vocals. Her new single, Hey can be found on all streaming platforms along with her most recent EP, Gypsy Love. Be on the lookout for her full-length album, coming spring of 2025.

ABOUT CONNOR DALY

Raised in Northern Virginia, Connor Daly grew up playing sports and music. Daly was the Virginia High School (5A) state champion in discus, earning him a spot on the track and field team at George Mason University, where he competed throughout college. Along with his athletic pursuits, he played classical guitar, developing a cascading fingerpicking style that shines through in his songs today, and he started writing songs. After his first year in college, Daly turned to songwriting more fully, and in 2019 recorded some demos and fell in love with the process of bringing my own songs to life. Now at 25, with more than 100 songs in his catalog, he continues to develop his craft. Daly released multiple singles throughout 2023. For several years he has performed regularly in local venues near his home in Fairfax and at songwriter rounds in Nashville. With musical influences including Jason Isbell, Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and Ed Sheeran, Daly has cultivated a knack for delivering his songs with tender vocals that swell with the emotional resonance of the song. When he’s not writing or recording, Daly can be found on the golf course, in the gym lifting weights, or playing Yahtzee. In the summer of 2024, Daly will release his debut album, Colors Fade, featuring acoustic-driven arrangements with poetic stories that cross the full spectrum of human experience. Daly has recently relocated to Tennessee and now calls Nashville home.

PRESS

“The high quality of the playing and extensive nature of the solos as well each pieces compositional development come as no surprise.”- Ron Wynn, Nashville Scene

“a versatile, risk-taking progressive jazz drummer…”
-Jonathan Widran, JAZZIZ

It is truly progressive and fundamentally jazzand a reason to be excited about the continuing evolution of jazz in Music City. Sean Maloney, Nashville Scene

Her new album Secrets of the Shore is fantastic and lush – in the vein of. Miles with Gil Evans or Maria Schneider. Complex but not out there or overly dissonant. The horn charts are just gorgeous. But live, oh wow I was floored. I don’t know where she found these young hotshots, but man the talent in this town is crazy.- Craig Havighurst, award-winning music journalist.

her childhood spent on the outskirts of Music Row. After years of experimentation and
soul-searching, she has arrived with a collection of honest songs that tell her story in
vivid color with a palette that deftly incorporates various genres, while firmly rooted in
indie-folk.

Drawing inspiration and influence from iconic singer-songwriters Rose counts as
heroes, such as Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow, Roses melodic, tightly focused songs
draw on the entire depth and breadth of her personal journey. She unflinchingly
addresses hard truths and challenges, unconditional love, introspection, and – ultimately
– the most beautiful verity of all: what it means to truly find herself.

ABOUT SAVANNA LEIGH

On her fourth EP reminders of you, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Savanna Leigh perfects her singularly vulnerable yet empowered, relatable voice. The 24-year-olds songcraft & lyricism resonate among her peers & beyond, peeling back the complex, sometimes uncomfortable layers of outgrowing relationships & past versions of yourself.

Savanna grew up in Tampa, FL, originally inspired by country, she wrote her first song at age 12, exhibiting passion & talent that would eventually take her to Nashville on a music scholarship.

reminders of you (EP) is more authentic & organic, with a stripped-back sound set to release on Aug 20. Recorded in Nashville & LA in collaboration with close friends, the project voices universal yet often subconscious sensations.

Savanna bares her storytelling soul & unafraid to have minimal instrumentation adorning her glacial, uniquely emotive vocals. This time her original country influences & Nashville surroundings make themselves felt, yet the power of Savannas innate pop sensibilities, way with words, & respect for hooks remains. The result is a best-of-both-worlds mlange of honest, profound expression & easy everyday accessibility.

“I want my listeners to feel safe when navigating their own journey of self-reflection, where they might discover something about themselves that they didn’t know before. Its important for the songs to allow someone to feel all of the emotions without fear of judgment from other people or from themselves.

ABOUT CHARLIE OXFORD

It all began in Dallas, TX where current Nashville resident Charlie Oxford started off at the early age of 12 in a guitar shop (coincidentally named Charleys) where Stevie Ray Vaughn used to hang out. That first guitar would allow him one day to channel his own version of modern-soulful pop with timeless echoes of the past. With his self-titled debut album released on, Charlie unveiled a sonic landscape that reflected his unique blend of influences, each track a testament to his love for rich, emotive storytelling and infectious melodies. The album boasted A-list cameos, including the renowned Horn Heads, whose work has graced albums by music legends like Prince, Chaka Khan, and Tower of Power. This album would set him up to play with artists like Michael Franti, Sister Hazel, Ron Pope, and many more on stages like the 9:30 Club in D.C., The Roxy in L.A., and Irving Plaza in NYC.

Oxfords next project, The Reflections EP, released in early 2016, showcased a 4 pack of acoustic-based ballads to high-energy anthems. His single, “Call Me,” delved into themes of support and friendship, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and real-life struggles. Premiered by The Huffington Post, the track resonated with audiences, earning praise for its heartfelt lyrics and soulful delivery.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, Charlie continued to hone his craft, self-producing a series of singles and cover songs that resonated with audiences craving connection and solace. Through these releases, Charlie’s hard work set him up for a slew of new songs that would become his upcoming album, Childish Nostalgia.

Charlie says, This album is a nod to my childhood blaring Collins No Jacket Required and Winwoods Higher Love ad nauseam in my dads old blue Buick on the way to school screaming Sussudio at the top of my lungs. Im just trying to make my family proud on this one. With each note and lyric, Charlie Oxford continues to redefine the boundaries of modern nostalgia pop, leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape and inspiring listeners around the world to embrace the magic of music.

ABOUT BOULEVARDS18-month

In February 2022, Boulevards, the project led by musician Jamil Rashad, released its fourth studio album, Electric Cowboy: Born in Carolina Mud. That album culminated years of slow building and provided the Raleigh, N.C. native the breakthrough he deserved. After an 18-month, rigorous run, he wasnt ready to take a deserved break.

Upon Electric Cowboys release, Rashads creative ideas continued to flow. He reached out to friends and collaborators, like writer Gentle Nature and J.J. Whitefield of German funk group The Poets of Rhythm, and began to mold his new ideas into full-fledged songs. After the campaign for Electric Cowboy wound down, Rashad returned to his home state of North Carolina and got to work on his fifth studio album.

As the song ideas flowed, Rashad explored the importance of self-reflection and personal experiences, particularly themes of love and vulnerability. Drawing from that prism and channeling the joy of his recent engagement, the artist had plenty of positive momentum heading into the recording sessions.

After Electric Cowboy was released, I thought hard about my intentions for the next album, shares Rashad. The objective was to make a record that echoes the spirit of my live shows and reflects the truest me.

Carolina Funk: Barn Burner on Tobacco Road is a tip of the cap to his home and will be released by the New West Records imprint Normaltown Records. At Killion Studios in Los Angeles, Rashad teamed with producer Sergio Rios (Neal Francis, Say She She, Orgone) to create an album chock full of memorable uptempo Southern Fried Funk. For the first time in Rashads career, he recorded live and straight to tape, capturing the true essence of these songs, which were brought to life by Dan Hastie (keys), Dale Jennings (bass), and Sam Halterman (drums).

Working with Sergio Rios as a producer allowed me to refine my vision while preserving the raw, infectious sound that feels most authentic to me, Rashad adds.

With an assist from Whitefield, Rashad captured the raw, crunchy sounds hed been hoping to incorporate into his recordings. The album also features the handy work of Mike Buckley (Daptones, Budos Band, Jalen Ngonda), who composed the horn parts, Blake Rhein (Durand Jones & The Indications), and Kendra Morris (Colemine Records). This is the album that finally captures the energy of Rashads high-octane live show onto wax. Black Pumas virtuoso Adrian Quesada and Will Grantham mixed Carolina Funk: Barn Burner on Tobacco Road, giving Rashad the exact sound he sought to capture.

Rashad points to What We Live For as one of his favorite songs from the 10-song collection. In the past, hes hidden his personal lyrics underneath the power of his groove-laden instrumentals. Not here. He admits that hearing the finished version gave him chills and he teared up a bit. At its heart, its what Carolina Funk is about celebrating love. As tender as What We Live For is, Rashad didnt want to get too hung up on sentimentality. The songs rhythm and melody are club-ready with its funk soul.

The same goes for Run and Move. Describing the fears of vulnerability in a relationship, Rashad brings an astute perspective to describing human nature. Despite it being one of his favorite songs, he admits that it was one of the toughest to track in the studio. Even so, the collection captures Rashads ethos as an artist and is his most well-rounded to date.

Like any great artist, Rashad writes in a fashion that is true to himself, yet has the ability for his rapidly expanding fan base to relate to. With Carolina Funk: Barn Burner on Tobacco Road, Rashad shows that he cant stop and wont stop channeling his creativity into funk-powered hits.
