Experience the soul of Music City at Southern Rounds, Nashville’s premier songwriter showcase, live at the iconic ANALOG on May 13.
Hosted by MICHAEL HANEY, this intimate evening features a powerhouse lineup—TYLE REEVE, PHILLIP LAMMONDS, and JOEL HUTSELL—bringing you closer than ever to the stories behind the songs. Beginning at 7:00 PM, these hitmakers will pull back the curtain on chart-toppers like “In Case You Didn’t Know,” along with songs made famous by artists such as Luke Combs, Lee Brice, and Riley Green. Kurt Ozan will accompany everyone on dobro.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, and educated (socially at the very least) at The Florida State University, Tyler’s down-home sensibility, attitude, and humor come across in his songs and through his live performances. Always a storyteller, songwriting fits quite naturally for Reeve. “I’m a song guy; I love songs, I love stories, I love the ride music can take you on.” Tyler’s performances are riddled with stories – usually funny stories – about inspiration for his songs, having a few too many, and even spending a night or two in jail.
Reeve has had his hand in writing some of country music’s biggest songs of the last few years, including the 2018 BMI Song of the Year, “In Case You Didn’t Know” (Brett Young), which has streamed over 3 billion times and been certified Diamond by the RIAA, one of only ten country songs to ever achieve this milestone. He also had a multi-week #1 & XM The Highway’s 2020 Song of The Year, and ACM Musical Event of The Year nominee, “Does To Me” (Luke Combs ft Eric Church). Other notables include “Mississippi or Me” (Riley Green), “Whiskey On My Breath” (Love & Theft), “Where I Go When I Drink” (Chris Young), How Ya Doin Up There (Scotty McCreery), and “I Got Away With You” (Luke Combs).
Phillip Lammonds has done it all. As a songwriter’s songwriter, he’s penned more than 4,000 songs over the decades. More than a few have been hits: Hootie & the Blowfish (“One Love”), Lee Brice (“Best Part of Me,” “My Carolina”), Craig Morgan (“Love Loves a Long Night”), and many others. After Brice (Phillips’ friend and producer) got him to come out of the songwriter shadows and into the role of performing artist, Cowboy Things debuted in April of 2024, with guest vocal appearances from Darius Rucker and Pam Tillis, and a song co-written with legendary actor Bill Murray.
Now, Phillip Lammonds is back with another collection of songs released in late 2024. “Why Don’t Dogs” and “Who’s Wrong, Who’s Right” – both reveling in Lammonds’ mastery of country and roots music, with his effortless South Carolina soul tackling questions about the fairness of life, and the messiness & reconciliations of relationship fights.
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Joel Hutsell moved to Music City in 2011. In 2012, Joel met aspiring country artist Cole Swindell and has been playing lead guitar in Cole’s band ever since. In the Fall of 2020, Joel landed a publishing deal with Sony Music Nashville. Recent cowriters include Emily Ann Roberts, Brad Warren, Kylie Morgan, Cole Swindell, Bryce Leatherwood, Cole Taylor, and more.
Michael Haney always felt making a career out of making music was out of reach — until 2015, when he was looking for his next gig after a decade as a sports radio producer and on-air personality in his native South Carolina. He moved to Nashville that September. Now signed to Rock Ridge Music, Haney is honing his warm, comforting Americana sound under the guidance of producer Ben Jackson (Josh Ross, Sister Hazel, Aaron Watson) while working with country-pop-rock band Sister Hazel’s merch company, lending his voice to commercials and audiobooks, and booking Nashville Nights, a weekly summertime songwriter series at Steel Hands Brewing in Cayce, South Carolina.
