Kicking off at 7:00 PM, these talented hitmakers will reveal the personal stories behind the beloved songs made famous by artists like Lee Ann Womack, Tracy Byrd, Tim McGraw, Lee Brice, and more!

MARLA CANNON-GOODMAN
Marla Cannon-Goodman grew up in Kingston Springs, TN. She grew up surrounded by some of the greatest songwriters in the business, with one of them being her own father, Buddy Cannon. Marla was working as a nurse when her song “The Fool”, recorded by Lee Ann Womack, reached #1 on the country charts. She then began writing full-time. She has had cuts by everyone from Sammy Kershaw, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and many others. Marla helped pen “Ten Rounds of Jose Cuervo” by Tracy Byrd and “Cleaning This Gun” by Rodney Atkins. You can also find her name on the Willie Nelson / Merle Haggard duet album “Django And Jimmie”, and her song “Same Devil”, recorded by Brandy Clark (feat. Brandi Carlisle), was nominated for the 2022 Grammy American Roots performance of the year.

DYLAN ALTMAN
Originally from the great state of New Jersey, Dylan Altman has been writing and performing in Nashville since 1994. He has had three #1 songs: Tim McGraw’s “Watch The Wind Blow By”, Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”, Jason Aldean’s “Take A Little Ride” as well as Chase Bryant’s top ten hit “Take It On Back”. Other artists who have recorded his songs include Trace Adkins, Eli Young Band, Joe Nichols, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He’s also the host of his own cooking/music show on YouTube, Dylan Altman’s Soul Stew.

EMMA ZINCK
Emma Zinck is a rising “Electric Country” artist based in Nashville, known for her powerhouse vocals, magnetic stage presence, and genre-blending sound. Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, she quickly made her mark after moving to Music City, signing her first production deal with Bridgette Tatum.
Emma has performed alongside major artists like Lainey Wilson and built a rapidly growing fanbase through viral moments, including her cover of “Talking to the Moon,” which gained millions of views. With over 200,000 followers, she continues to connect deeply with fans through both her voice and authenticity.
Now co-producing her own project, Emma is carving out her signature sound—bold, guitar-driven, and unapologetically real—through releases like “Somebody To Love Me,” “Country Enough,” “Leather Jacket,” and “Mean to Me.”

PHILLIP LAMMONDS (HOST)
Phillip Lammonds has done it all. As a songwriter’s songwriter, he’s penned more than 4,000 songs over the decades. More than a few have been hits: Hootie & the Blowfish (“One Love”), Lee Brice (“Best Part of Me,” “My Carolina”), Craig Morgan (“Love Loves a Long Night”), and many others. After Brice (Phillips’ friend and producer) got him to come out of the songwriter shadows and into the role of performing artist, Cowboy Things debuted in April of 2024, with guest vocal appearances from Darius Rucker and Pam Tillis, and a song co-written with legendary actor Bill Murray.
Now, Phillip Lammonds is back with another collection of songs released in late 2024. “Why Don’t Dogs” and “Who’s Wrong, Who’s Right” – both reveling in Lammonds’ mastery of country and roots music, with his effortless South Carolina soul tackling questions about the fairness of life, and the messiness & reconciliations of relationship fights.
