ABOUT MEG COLEMAN
Megan Coleman was born in the heart of Detroit. She grew up in church, learning from the rich culture that is Detroit Gospel, Jazz, and RnB music.
As a drummer and percussionist, she has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists such as Jenny Lewis, Yola, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, The Highwomen, Keith Urban, Ron Pope, Foy Vance, Jackie Greene, The Girls of Nashville, Kree Harrison, Lucie Silvas, and Bridgette Tatum, to name a few. When she is not on the road, Megan can be found playing live and in sessions around Nashville, DJing, teaching lessons, and volunteering in mentorship programs.
ABOUT NASHVILLE BLANKET PROJECT
Our goal is to provide a small token of comfort to our Nashville neighbors in need, whether they are experiencing homelessness, have become victims of a natural disaster, or just need a little help. We’ve partnered with local nonprofit organizations who specialize in meeting the needs of those neighbors. Since our launch in 2018, with the amazing support of our community, we’ve been able to donate 10,000+ blankets to neighbors in need.
